Farm building in Hagi, Yamaguchi Prefecture

There is little that I can say about this building. I had rented a bicycle on a somewhat drizzly day and just meandered about Hagi. I came across this old farm building and was captivated by its lovely form and rustic patina.

Maybe someone who sees this illustration will be able to tell me something about the building, such as when it might have been built and what it was used for. Thank you.
